The vessel is set to start work in January on flex-laying activities for Chevron off Nigeria under the 60-day charter with Marine Platforms that also carries extension options for up to two months, the Oslo-listed shipowner said in a statement.
The previous charter with Ceona was cancelled as a result of a payment default by the UK-based client, which is now in bankruptcy proceedings.
