The 2001-built jack-up was put through its paces with exercises involving rig personnel simulating a collision with a ship and gas blowout in the audit carried out by the Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA).

Inspectors also observed a practice session involving a man-overboard (MOB) boat on the rig, which is operating for ConocoPhillips at the Ekofisk field in the North Sea.

However, the audit report identified regulatory non-conformities related to maintenance systems, including those for lifeboats, as well as a lack of personnel training and MOB boat preparedness.
