Oil production in North Dakota grew by about 71,400 barrels in October after falling the previous month, according preliminary figures from state regulators.
The state pumped about 1.04 barrels per day in October compared to 971,760 bpd in September, the North Dakota Industrial Commission (NDIC) said in its most recent monthly report.
Natural gas output grew during the same period to an all-time high, the NDIC said.
