OGEC Cracow said the value of the deal would remain confidential but the length of the contract was for an initial one year period with the option for an extension.
Work on the field will be carried out with the K900 drilling rig which the company said was currently under mobilisation from Kazakhstan and would be shipped by sea to Mozambique.
