The company generated $562.1 million over the three months to 31 December, up 4% on the $538.2 million in revenue booked during the September quarter.

This came as output rose 8% to more than 7.2 million barrels of oil equivalent and sales increased 12% to nearly 6.9 million boe.

These figures were boosted by the first full quarter of production from both trains at the PNG LNG project which saw Oil Search's net share of output from the project increase 13.5%
