The company said Tuesday that parties had been approaching the Bhandut joint venture ever since the Government of India announced it was increasing the base domestic gas price to stimulate additional investment in indigenous gas supplies.
“We are pleased that the recently announced increase of domestic prices to (about) $8 per thousand cubic feet seems to be stimulating additional interest in our projects,” Oilex managing director Ron Miller said in a statement.
