London-based player Panoro Energy has launched arbitration proceedings against partners in the Aje field off Nigeria over a disputed cash demand.

Panoro said on Monday that it “initiated legal proceedings and intends to initiate arbitration to protect its interests” as it currently finds itself in "disagreement with its joint venture partners in OML 113 in Nigeria". 

The company, through its fully owned subsidiary, Pan Petroleum Aje, holds a 6.5%
