A threat led the company to enforce its security protocol at the Pemex Tower in Mexico City on Tuesday evening local time, a message on the company's Twitter account read.
"The relevant authorities are performing inspection of facilities," a second brief tweet from Pemex read.
A company spokesperson told Reuters that there were very few people in the building at the time of the threat.
