Petrobras discovered a new light oil and gas accumulation in the 4-GLF-31-ESS well, informally known as Tambuata, in a water depth of 1520 meters.
The well intersected Santonian age reservoirs, at a depth between 4530 and 4670 meters, which Petrobras said were in good condition for production.
It added its preliminary analysis of the well indicated excellent quality oil, condensate and natural gas.
