Nansei Sekiyu has a refinery in the island of Okinawa, Japan, that has capacity to process 100,000 barrels per day of oil.
The company also has 36 tanks that store 9.5 million barrels of oil and oil products, three piers for loading and unloading ships and a monobuoy.
According to Petrobras, closing of the transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, is expected in December 2016.
