The company, which focuses on oil and gas production in Colombia, drilled its Copa 4 development well at the Copa field in the Llanos basin’s Cubiro block to a total depth of 6240 feet on 12 April.
After running well logs on 13 April, PetroMagdalena concluded the well logs to be between 15 feet and 20 feet higher than predicted in the mapping done based on the seismic interpretation, it told the Toronto Stock Exchange in an announcement.
