The court also denied a demand by temporary manager Eduard Rebgun, appointed by a Moscow bankruptcy court, that the unit seek his approval for transactions over €1 million ($1.3 million).
The court did however grant Rebgun the status of an "interested party", which lets him to claim a stake in Yukos's non-Russian assets on behalf of his clients during bankruptcy proceedings, Reuters reported
Rebgun's backers in Moscow quickly countered, opening criminal cases against four top Yukos managers.
