The Gazelle-P3 well is being drilled to a total depth of about 2926 metres using the jack-up drilling rig Transocean GSF Monitor.
Rialto said the well was designed as a deviated hole and would target already tested sands over the Upper Cenomanian reservoirs and a deeper combination structural and stratigraphic trap in the Lower Cenomanian which had never been drilled before.
