Under one of the MoUs, the duo plans to “co-operate in respect of the northern tip of (the) Chayvo field off the coast of Sakhalin Island,” Rosneft said.
The deal would see Pertamina take a 20% stake in the northern tip of Chayvo.
The pair plans to agree legally binding documents for the transaction, however, no date for the expected completion of the acquisition or financial details have been provided.
