The $40 million contract was awarded by Samsung Heavy Industries and will see Royal Boskalis transport the three topsides modules for the field's riser platform and the topside for the processing platform.
The modules will be transported using three ships, owned by Royal Boskalis subsidiary Dockwise, from Samsung's yard in Geoje, South Korea, to Norway.
A Dockwise type I heavy transport vessel will be used to move two topsides modules for the riser platform, with a total weight of more than 20,000 tonnes, while a Dockwise type II vessel will transport the third riser platform module, which weighs 6000 tonnes, in the first half of 2018.
