Singaporean rig builder Sembcorp Marine (SembMarine) has seen its profit turn to loss, as its business took a hit this quarter amid “continued industry uncertainty”, cutting about 8000 jobs in the process.
SembMarine reported a net loss in the third quarter of the year of S$21.8 million (US$15.6 million) compared to a profit of S$32.1 million in the same period last year.
