The FPSO will be installed on the field in the fourth quarter of next year with first production due in first quarter of 2012.
"The signing of this contract represents an important milestone for the Huntington field development,” Scott Kerr, Noreco's chief executive, said.
“Huntington will be Noreco's first producing field in the UK, and it will be a significant contributor to the company's overall production from 2012 onwards,” he added.
