The six modules of the KAKG-A CPP topsides were being loaded out in phases from Sime Darby’s Pasir Gudang yard.



The modules will be installed over the jacket constructed at the previous Ramunia’s shipyard.



The CPP will be connected to Petronas MLNG 2 production facilities at Bintulu, Sarawak, via a 28-inch, 190-kilometre pipeline.



Offshore installation is undertaken by SapuraCrest’s subsidiary TL Offshore.



The Malaysian outfit has lined up several vessels including derrick lay barge LTS 3000, pipelayer, Enterprise-3 and Leighton Faulkner for work in the Kumang Cluster during the second quarter, sources said.
