ST Marine will convert Bluestone Topaz at its main yard in Benoi for Singapore-based Bluestone as it enters into the subsea market’s niche deep-water geotechnical analysis segment.
Bluestone Topaz measures 72 metres in length with a 6.5 metre depth and maximum deadweight tonne of 2180 and is expected to be redelivered by the end of 2008.
Retrofitting work includes building a new moonpool complete with cover as well as to fabricate and install a new mezzanine deck, tween deck and platform.
