In an announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange, project partner Cue Energy said drill stem testing of the sidetrack had revealed insufficient levels of gas to lead to commercial production.
The 6-inch hole section of the sidetrack, which reached a total depth of 5066 feet earlier in March, was evaluated with wire-line tools and an open-hole drill-stem test, though this was not effectively completed.
