Tethys Petroleum has received backing from two private investors amid its ongoing struggles in Kazakhstan.
Tethys revealed Monday that Winston Sanjeev Kumar Soosaipillai and Medgat Kumar would each acquire roughly 43.95 million shares at US$0.01593 per share, amounting to total proceeds of roughly US$1.4 million.
This would give each of the investors a roughly 9.9% stake in the company and see them, or their respective nominees, appointed to the board of Tethys.
