The A$120 million (US$94.5 million) contract will see UGL provide plant services on the Curtis Island LNG facility over a three-year period, with options to extend for a further four years.

The scope of work under the contract will include maintenance, shutdown, engineering and project services.

“This contract, along with the recent announcement of the APLNG maintenance contract further enhances UGL’s strong base of recurring revenue and positions us well for future maintenance oportunites as LNG facilities currently under construction move to their operational phase,” UGL chief executive Ross Taylor said.
