Under the $40 million deal, Vard will build one of the vessels at its shipyard in Braila in Romania, and the other one at Vung Tau in Vietnam.
Delivery of both vessels is scheduled for the second quarter of 2018.
The vessels, of Vard 9 21 design and measuring 123 metres by 16.5 meters, are sister ships of a series of 15 identical module-carrier vessels previously contracted by Topaz under a $300 million deal.
