Wijers takes Kerr Shell seat

Wijers, who currently serves as a non-executive director of the company and chair of its remuneration committee, was due to step down from his role at AkzoNobel at the company’s AGM.

Wijers will replace John Kerr, Baron Kerr of Kinlochard, when he stands down as a non-executive director of the company after Shell’s AGM, with Josef Ackermann to take Wijers’ place on the company’s Nomination and Succession committee.
