The Oklahoma-based company said Thursday it had filed an application with the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to authorise construction of the Gulf Connector pipeline, a 475,000-dekatherm-per-day expansion of its Transco Pipeline.
The expansion would deliver 75,000 dekatherms per day to the Freeport LNG facility by the second half of 2018 and 400,000 dekatherms per day to Cheniere Energy’s Corpus Christi LNG plant in 2019.
