The energy services player posted a group revenue from continuing operations of $3.4 million, compared to $3.3 billion last year.
Earnings before interest, tax and amortisations (EBITA) from continuing operations were also up 18.6% to $243.2 million.
Wood Group said based on the first half results, it was confident of achieving full year performance in line with expectations.
In Wood Group Engineering, revenue increased by 13%, reflecting growth across the upstream, subsea and pipelines, downstream, process and industrial sectors.
