Saudi Aramco has awarded contracts worth $18 billion to a total of 16 companies for work on incremental development projects at its Marjan and Berri oilfields off Saudi Arabia, writes Nishant Ugal.

The two development projects at Berri and Marjan are together expected to increase production capacity by up to 550,000 barrels per day of oil and 2.5 billion cubic feet per day of gas, the state-owned giant said.
