The partners of deep-water Block A-6 off Myanmar have mapped out a schedule for a multi-billion-dollar gas field development, and have just completed a successful appraisal well.
Sources said a tender is likely to be issued in late 2018 for front-end engineering and design, with FEED execution earmarked for the first half of 2019.
The Block A-6 joint venture is then targeting inviting major services contractors in the third quarter next year to compete for the various engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning packages.
