Revision two of the bulletin 'Site specific assessment of mobile jack-up units' is now publicly available from the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (Sname).
In the mid-1990s, earlier versions of this document sparked a strong backlash from parts of the jack-up contracting fraternity as the requirements became more widely applied and realisation dawned that this could eventually end up as an international standard.
