Brazilian offshore services group Acamin Navegacao has fended off strong competition by a very narrow margin in a Petrobras tender for the charter of fast supply and oil spill response vessels to support its operations along the country’s continental shelf, writes Fabio Palmigiani.
Petrobras invited contractors to bid for Brazilian-flagged FSV-OSRVs equipped with recovery tanks that have storage capacity for at least 66 cubic metres of oil, together with an oil boom, skimmers and other equipment.
