Brazil’s Petrobras is scouting the market for an accommodation and maintenance vessel to carry out operations at production platforms off the country’s south-east coast, writes Fabio Palmigiani.
According to a source, Petrobras issued a request for information with an eye on a flotel to cover the remaining period of the Arendal Spirit's charter agreement.
Petrobras terminated the Arendal Spirit contract with Teekay Offshore in March after two operational incidents occurred during routine operations.
