Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has cancelled the tender process for an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract related to its Dalma offshore gas development.
However, work on other elements of the Dalma development are progressing and sources signalled that it does not necessarily mean a major project slowdown.
Rather, sources close to the tender process told Upstream that the state-owned had cancelled the tender for two offshore jackets required for early drilling because it wants to fine-tune the field’s development plan.
