Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has launched its second licensing round, offering five blocks in an exercise involving both conventional and unconventional tracts.
The state-owned giant has offered three offshore and two onshore blocks, which are likely to hold “multiple billion barrels of oil and multiple trillion cubic feet of natural gas”, according to Adnoc.
Interested players are expected to submitted expressions of interest later this year, with bids to be submitted by November.
