Abu Dhabi's Adnoc Onshore has started the chase for a key onshore engineering, procurement and construction project involving its Bab sustainable facilities project.

Two sources close to the tender process told Upstream that Adnoc Onshore recently sought expressions of interest from leading EPC players, aimed at pre-qualifying contractors for the onshore project.

The Bab sustainable facilities project envisages achieving oil production of 485,000 barrels per day from the Bab field, which is believed to the second largest onshore oilfield in the emirate.
