Chinese provincial gas distributor Hubei Energy has signed a tri-party framework agreement to build a liquefied natural gas import terminal in Zhoushan in Zhejiang province, writes Xu Yihe.

The agreement signed last week between Hubei Energy, the Zhoushan municipal government and privately-owned Great United Petroleum Holding (GUPC) involves the three parties planning to spend 5.6 billion yuan ($835 million) on the terminal, which will be built in phases.
