Norwegian oilfield services player Akastor slumped into the red in the third quarter despite posting higher revenues and orders, as it was hit by financial losses on its holdings in a pair of contractors.
The Oslo-listed player reported a net loss of Nkr9 million ($975,000), compared with a year-earlier profit of Nkr441 million that was swelled by a Nkr421 million gain from discontinued operations.
