Aker BP is planning a redevelopment of its Hod satellite field off Norway that could offer potential fabrication, drilling and subsea contract spoils for its supplier partners, writes Steve Marshall.
The Anglo-Norwegian operator is looking to either build a new unmanned platform or re-use an existing unmanned facility to exploit an additional 70 million barrels of oil equivalent at Hod via a tieback to its Valhall platform in the North Sea.
