Anglo-Norwegian independent Aker BP has come up dry at its wildcat on the JK prospect in production licence 916 in Norway’s central North Sea.
The well, drilled with the semi-submersible Deepsea Stavanger, encountered good-quality reservoir rock in the primary target of the Statfjord horizon. However, it did not encounter the secondary target in the Heimdal formation and was declared dry.
