Algeria's army chief of staff has demanded that President Abdelaziz Bouteflika be declared unfit to rule after weeks of protests against him in the country, which is a major energy supplier to Europe, writes Nassir Shirkhani.
General Ahmed Gaed Salah said: "We must adopt a solution that helps us out of this crisis... a solution that respects and adheres to the constitution so that it's a suitable one for all sides.
