AN ALLIANCE including Heerema Marine Contractors of the Netherlands and Malaysia’s SapuraKencana Petroleum have agreed at short notice to tackle the Su Tu Trang (White Lion) offshore installation job in Vietnam.
The decision follows the recent cancellation of a contract with Singapore contractor Swiber Holdings.
Sources said Heerema and SapuraKencana’s subsidiary TL Offshore would be supported by offshore and marine company POS.
