Swiss marine construction specialist Allseas has signed a pair of agreements with subsidiaries of Russian gas giant Gazprom that position it to install two major gas export trunklines across the Black and Baltic seas, respectively.
The first deal, signed on 8 December, covers installation of Gazprom’s 900-kilometre TurkStream pipeline across the Black Sea, from the Russian coast to Turkey.
The second deal is a letter of intent, signed the very next day, to install Gazprom’s 1200-kilometre Nord Stream 2 across the Baltic Sea, from north-western Russia to northern Germany.
