TOTAL is carrying out a number of small projects around the Alwyn North area in the UK North Sea that could recover many millions of barrels of additional reserves. Senior vice-president of Total's North Sea division Charles Mattenet said around 340 million barrels of oil equivalent of additional undeveloped reserves may be recovered from Alwyn. We will invest in the Alwyn area in miscible gas injection and on deep Alwyn and Dunbar in multiphase pumping and tight reservoir zones, said Mattenet.
