The company said the Wahoo-1 wildcat flowed 31 degrees API oil at a restricted rate of 7500 barrels per day and about 4 million cubic feet per day of natural gas.
Based on the data recovered from the test, Anadarko believes the first well drilled in the ultra-deepwater BM-C-30 concession will be capable of producing at a rate well in excess of 15,000 bpd.
