US independent Anadarko Petroleum has chosen a joint venture of CB&I, Chiyoda and Saipem to engineer, procure and construct a pair of liquefaction trains in Mozambique.
The CCS group had competition from a Fluor-JGC partnership to land this prestigious order, the value of which was not revealed.
Anadarko’s decison marks the conclusion of a long-running bid process centred on a front-end engineering and design contest that had also involved Bechtel.
