The operator is just above its primary objectives on the first well at its Jubilee prospect, which straddles the borders of the Atwater Valley and Lloyd Ridge planning areas in the eastern Gulf.
The well, in 8800 feet of water, is being drilled utilising Transocean drillship Deepwater Millennium in Atwater Valley block 349.
Anadarko initially drilled and pre-set down to a 20-inch casing point at Jubilee, then moved over to its Hawkeye prospect in the eastern Lloyd Ridge area and repeated the process there.
