Anadarko Petroleum said this week it remains on track to sanction its huge liquefied natural gas project in Mozambique within the next two months despite recent attacks on worker convoys that left one person dead and six injured, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.

The US independent said the two attacks on 21 February on the road from Mocimboa da Praia to Afungi in Cabo Delgado province were probably not targeted assaults on the company, its workers and contractors or the LNG project itself.
