The Houston-based independent, which is headed by chairman, president and chief executive Robert Allison, has marked September as the earliest date it can get a rig to Jubilee East, located in Lloyd Ridge blocks 265 and 309, which are situated north-south of each other.
The rig expected to spud the well is Transocean's drillship Deepwater Millennium, but a company source cautioned that the rig choice -- while likely -- has not been confirmed.
