BRAZIL’S National Petroleum Agency (ANP) has presented the results of investigations into the fire that crippled BW Offshore’s Cidade de Sao Mateus floating production, storage and offloading vessel, initiating a wider dialogue with the industry on safety issues.
The safety report was presented during a two-day workshop in Rio de Janeiro.
The accident occurred on 11 February when a gas explosion on the Cidade de Sao Mateus killed nine people.
