The Melbourne-based operator is seeking expressions of interest from FPSO suppliers to provide a vessel capable of processing 40,000 barrels per day of oil and about 100 million cubic feet per day of gas.
The FPSO's oil storage capacity will be between 650,000 barrels and 750,000 barrels, said sources.
It will be permanently moored at the field on a weathervaning system in about 150 metres of water.
