A remotely operated vehicle is in the water to find the leak, which appeared to be bubbling at the water’s surface near Platform B in the block.
US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation & Enforcement (BOEM) inspectors flying over the site described discoloured water associated with the bubbling, but downplayed the chances that it is oil.
